The contact form
The contact form on the home page is a front-end demonstration only. When the form is submitted, the action is simulated entirely in your browser and a confirmation message is shown. No form data is transmitted to a server or stored by this site. Because nothing is sent, no message is actually delivered through the form; for a real reply, please use the email address listed on the About page.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not set tracking cookies. A cookie notice appears once on the home page. When you choose Accept or Reject, that single choice is saved in your browser's local storage under one entry so the notice does not appear again. This value stays on your device and is not sent anywhere. Clearing your browser storage removes it.
External links and images
Articles link to external reference pages and load images hosted on Wikimedia Commons. When your browser requests one of those resources, the request goes directly to the third-party host, which may receive standard technical information such as your IP address as part of normal web traffic. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which are outside this site's control.
Children's privacy
